Pensioner who sadly died in a collision with lorry in Ormskirk is named

A woman who died following a collision in Ormskirk has been named.  Police were called around 12.30pm on Thursday October 17 to Park Road after a 73-year-old woman was struck by a DAF Lorry as she crossed the road. The road was closed for a number of hours whilst police and paramedics attended the scene but sadly the female died at the scene.

Police are appealing for information after a woman sadly died following a collision in Ormskirk on Thursday 17th October. The collision happened at 12.30pm on Park Road, near the pedestrian crossing at Moorgate. A 73-year-old woman was struck by a DAF Lorry as she crossed the road. The woman, from Ormskirk, suffered serious injuries and sadly died at the scene.

Police appeal for information after three men shot in Skelmersdale

Detectives are appealing for information after three males were shot in Skelmersdale on Tuesday afternoon.. Police were called to an address on Belfield at about 1.30pm on Tuesday, October 15th, following reports that shots had been fired.
