West Lancashire Borough Council has put a revised Local Plan out for consultation. The plans show a huge increase in housing and will affect some of the best farming land and green belt in the heart of West Lancashire. Date for Ormskirk Christmas lights revealed and it may surprise you!

Christmas is coming up so quickly and soon it will be time for the lights to be switched on. This year Ormskirk will be having more lights than usual after winning a competition to brighten up the town. West Lancs Borough Council have decided to move the Christmas light switch on from the traditional Friday night to a Sunday afternoon.
