Pensioner who sadly died in a collision with lorry in Ormskirk is named

A woman who died following a collision in Ormskirk has been named.  Police were called around 12.30pm on Thursday October 17 to Park Road after a 73-year-old woman was struck by a DAF Lorry as she crossed the road. The road was closed for a number of hours whilst police and paramedics attended the scene but sadly the female died at the scene.

Police appeal for information following death of 73-year-old woman struck by lorry in Ormskirk

Police are appealing for information after a woman sadly died following a collision in Ormskirk on Thursday 17th October. The collision happened at 12.30pm on Park Road, near the pedestrian crossing at Moorgate. A 73-year-old woman was struck by a DAF Lorry as she crossed the road. The woman, from Ormskirk, suffered serious injuries and sadly died at the scene.
