Teenager sentenced to four years after pleading guilty to stabbing in Skelmersdale

A teenage boy has been sentenced to four years in a youth detention centre after admitting stabbing another teenager. Pensioner who sadly died in a collision with lorry in Ormskirk is named

A woman who died following a collision in Ormskirk has been named.  Police were called around 12.30pm on Thursday October 17 to Park Road after a 73-year-old woman was struck by a DAF Lorry as she crossed the road. The road was closed for a number of hours whilst police and paramedics attended the scene but sadly the female died at the scene.
