Police make arrest after Concourse stabbing

On the morning of Thursday 20th September, Skelmersdale police officers arrested an 19-year-old male from the Liverpool Area. This was in connection with the stabbing outside the Concourse Shopping on 28th June 2018. As part of this arrest another 19-year-old male was also located who was wanted for a Prison Recall.

On Friday 21st September police officers made a stop/search on a vehicle in the High Street, Skelmersdale in the afternoon. The two males in the vehicle aged 22 and 27 were arrested for offences of Possession with Intent to Supply Class A Drugs and Concerned in the Supply of Class A Drugs.

This behaviour will not be tolerated and local Police officers would encourage the community to report any suspicious activity around drugs or crime by calling 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 – All calls will be treated confidentially.
