The fifth Motorfest will take place on it’s traditional August Bank Holiday date on Sunday 26th.
Aintree Circuit Club who organise Motorfest have opened for entries for both the Town Centre Parades and the Coronation Park display areas.
They welcome all forms of motorised transport and competition machinery of all ages, from pre First World War up to modern super cars and contemporary racing cars, racing motorcycles and rally cars.
This is one of the few events where you can see an F1 car race through a town centre, and to make it safe they will have to close some roads.
The A570 Ring-Road, which forms the 1 Mile Parade Circuit, will be closed to all traffic under an Official Road Closure Order. This will be in place from 14.30 to 16.30 during the event.
They are keeping the entry fee/admin charge for the parades at just £10 per vehicle, this is used to cover event operational costs and the safety provision, with which the event cannot run.
Entries are received on a first come first served basis, so don’t delay.
